Webb1 jan. 2010 · I did not attached the VSS wire. I've been using it since Oct. '06 and have had no issues at all. I think the place where the VSS wire would help is if you were going into a tunnel. Since the NAV would lose satellite the computer would recognize the speed of the vehicle and continue moving it along the map until satellite is reacquired.
