The only thing that bothers me, is since time moves slower in the underworld, wouldn’t it be incredibly difficult to meet up and synchronize communication and fighting? WebbI think that Rage of Dragons does something similar for people of African descent. Calling it a retread of European Fantasy seems a bit unfair to me. I agree with most of your criticisms and I think they're fair and well stated. I just wanted to share a different take on the book. I hate when a book is overhyped and dragged through the mud.
